IMPULSE VOLTAGE TEST SYSTEM

Impulse voltage test system can be used to generate lightning impulse (1.2±30%/ 50±20%μs), LI (T1:1~5μs, T2: 40~60μs) for cable testing, chopped lightning impulse(chopped time between 2~5μs to test power transformers, instrument / voltage transformersandbushings), switching impulse (250±20%/2500±60%μs)and steep front wave forms(to test glass insulator, composite insulators or ceramicinsulators).

Applications  

1It is used to test the insulation strength of power equipment (such as transformers, circuit breakers, insulators, etc.) under impulse voltages like lightning and switching overvoltages, ensuring the safe operation of equipment in extreme voltage environments.
2.In the production and manufacturing process of electrical equipment, it tests the impulse voltage tolerance of products, screens out unqualified products, and ensures the quality and reliability of equipment leaving the factory.

Key Configurations

Energy Storage Capacitor Module: High-insulation, low-loss capacitors, multi-stage series, determining the upper limit of output voltage.

Control System: PLC controller + touch screen, supporting manual/automatic modes, allowing setting of charging voltage, trigger time and other parameters.

Charging Circuit System: Includes high-voltage rectifier and charging resistor, converting AC power to DC high voltage to charge capacitors.

Insulation Support Structure: Epoxy insulation tube, insulator, ensuring insulation performance between high-voltage part and ground.
 
Discharge Trigger Device: High-precision sphere gap/electronic switch, precisely controlling discharge timing to ensure waveform stability.
