IMPULSE VOLTAGE TEST SYSTEM
Impulse voltage test system can be used to generate lightning impulse (1.2±30%/ 50±20%μs), LI (T1:1~5μs, T2: 40~60μs) for cable testing, chopped lightning impulse(chopped time between 2~5μs to test power transformers, instrument / voltage transformersandbushings), switching impulse (250±20%/2500±60%μs)and steep front wave forms(to test glass insulator, composite insulators or ceramicinsulators).

1. Precise High-Voltage Measurement
Suitable for power system operation and maintenance, as well as electrical equipment manufacturing scenarios, it can accurately measure power frequency AC high voltage and DC high voltage. Whether it is on-site high-voltage testing or laboratory calibration, it can convert high voltages of several thousand volts or even millions of volts into low-voltage signals (such as a voltage division ratio of 1000:1), allowing digital meters to directly read voltage values.
2. Circuit Functional Applications
In electronic circuits, voltage dividers are used for level setting (such as transistor biasing), sensor signal conditioning (such as scaling the output voltage for microcontroller acquisition), reference voltage generation, and impedance matching. For example, voltage can be flexibly distributed by adjusting resistance values to achieve voltage reduction or distribution.
3. Safety Protection
Voltage dividers can limit high voltages within a safe range, protect low-voltage components from damage, and achieve electrical isolation to avoid high-voltage interference with low-voltage circuits.

Key Configurations
High-voltage Arm and Low-voltage Arm: The voltage divider is composed of a high-voltage arm and a low-voltage arm connected in series. The high-voltage input is connected to the terminal post at the top of the grading sphere, and the low-voltage output is connected to the measuring instrument through a coaxial cable The entire device adopts a balanced equipotential shielding structure and consists of two parts: the voltage divider and the measuring instrument.
Voltage Division Ratio Setting: The standard voltage division ratio is 1000:1. Below 200kV, 1000:1 is usually adopted, and below 300kV, 1000:1 is also adopted. It has high input impedance, which reduces the test current and power consumption, making the product small in size, light in weight and stable in performance
Display and Measurement: The low-voltage display can directly read voltage values such as DC average value, AC peak value and true effective value. The range is usually divided into Low gear (0-20kV) and High gear (such as 0-50kV, 0-100kV, etc.)
Signal Connection: The voltage divider and the low-voltage display are connected through a dedicated coaxial cable. The signal processing part uses high-performance OP for signal amplification, adopts dual-integral AD sampling technology, and has a four-bit liquid crystal display
Grounding System: Equipped with a matching grounding wire, a dedicated grounding post is installed on the base of the voltage divider. The grounding post must be reliably grounded before each use to ensure that the grounding resistance is ≤4Ω
Grading Sphere Design: The high-voltage end adopts a grading sphere made of aluminum alloy material, which effectively improves the electric field distribution, prevents tip discharge, and improves the anti-interference ability of measurement data
